The Solutions Architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, program managers, and government stakeholders, to translate complex requirements into actionable technical designs.Required Experience/QualificationsBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.15+ years of experience in IT architecture, systems engineering, or solutions design.10+ years of experience working with DoD or federal IT environments.Proven track record of designing and implementing complex IT solutions in cloud, on-premises, or hybrid environments.Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, DoDAF).Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or DoD Cloud) and associated services (e.g., EC2, S3, Azure AD).Familiarity with network design, virtualization, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).Experience with ITIL, DevSecOps, and agile methodologies.Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.Ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.Certifications (Preferred)Preferred Experience/QualificationsAWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or equivalent.CISSP, CISM, or other cybersecurity certifications.ITIL or TOGAF certification.Special Requirements/Security ClearanceActive DoD Secret clearance or higher requiredWillingness to travel up to 10% for DISA engagements, industry events, and partner meetings (primarily Fort Meade, D.C.
