This role is accountable for translating HR/Payroll policies, compliance requirements, and operational reality intoaccurate, auditable, and scalable configurationwithin UKG. The UKG BSA leads functional design, configuration governance, and UAT acceptance to protect payroll accuracy and reduce long-term vendor dependency.Platform Ownership & ConfigurationOwn end‑to‑end UKG configuration across timekeeping, pay rules, accruals, payroll calendars, and retro logicDesign and maintain calculation rules that correctly interpret worked time, premiums, and policy exceptionsServe as final authority on how business requirements are implemented in UKGPayroll Accuracy & Risk ControlEnsure predictable payroll outcomes through deliberate configuration and testingOwn payroll close mechanics, cutoff rules, and audit checkpointsPartner with Payroll Ops and Tax to prevent defects before they reach productionAccrual & Policy TranslationTranslate HR policies into accrual engines that balance compliance with operational realityOwn balance logic, caps, resets, carryover, and correctionsMinimize manual adjustments through system‑first designIntegrations & Data IntegrityOwn functional logic for inbound and outbound integrations (EVV, rates, benefits, GL, tax files)Validate mapping, assumptions, and downstream impact of changesEnsure failures are visible, explainable, and resolved quicklyUAT Leadership & Release ManagementDesign UAT scenarios that reflect real‑world payroll riskDefine pass/fail criteria and approve or reject releasesLead change impact analysis and configuration documentationGovernance & Continuous ImprovementEstablish and enforce UKG configuration standards and guardrailsReduce vendor dependency through internal e...
