About The Organization Has been in the Boston area for over 45 years and is dedicated to preservation of New England wildlife and their habitats Focuses on diversity, equity, and inclusion in their hiring and programming Refining their accounting cycle is part of their overall efficiency initiative; this role with have a big impact on the organization at large Scope Of The Project For The Accounting Consultant Observing their accounts payable and receivable processing procedures Accepting feedback and ideas from the team for process improvement Enacting an improvement plan with guidance from the CFO Assisting with month-end close to better understand the cycle Background Expected Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or experience equivalent 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting with 3+ years in a leadership role Proven track record of process improvement and systems knowledge Compensation, depending on experience: $48/hr - $57/hr #INJAN2026 Show less
