Data Scientist (Predictive & Generative AI) - Talentmatics

This is a hands-on role involving large-scale industrial datasets and modern open-source tools to build forecasting, anomaly detection, predictive maintenance, generative, and agentic AI solutions. Key Responsibilities Translate manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and service challenges into clear ML and analytics problem statements Select appropriate modeling approaches (statistical, ML, deep learning) aligned with KPIs such as OEE, FTR, downtime, scrap, rework, and cost Analyze large datasets including time-series sensor data, quality inspection data, maintenance, and warranty data Develop: Demand forecasting models (Prophet, ARIMA) Propensity-to-buy models Anomaly detection and predictive maintenance solutions Experiment with Generative AI for: Synthetic data generation Private RAG systems Agentic AI workflows Build agentic AI solutions to automate and enhance operational processes Collaborate with AI Engineering and MLOps teams for production deployment Ensure model explainability, bias mitigation, monitoring, and performance validation Promote an innovation-driven culture through experimentation and knowledge sharing Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist Mandatory: Experience working in a new-age startup environment Strong hands-on expertise in: Regression, classification, clustering Time-series modeling Tree-based models and deep learning Experience with model monitoring, retraining strategies, and root cause analysis Strong exposure to Generative AI, including: Fine-tuning LLMs (e.g., Meta Llama) Synthetic data creation Agentic systems Demonstrated AI-led innovation mindset Ability to showcase code or projects (GitHub, notebooks, prototypes) Experience handling unstructured data (sensor logs, PDFs) Knowledge of ethical and responsible AI practices Preferred Qualifications Experience preparing data for computer vision or agentic AI systems Public GitHub portfolio or open-source contributions Interest and hands-on exposure to emerging trends such as: Multimodal models Autonomous agents Real-time analytics Show less [{"type":"people_also_viewed","href":"https://in.linkedin.com/jobs/view/sr-manager%E2%80%93-data-science-at-tata-play-ltd-4360598041","jobId":"4360598041","label":"Sr.
