Job description: Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, maintain, and optimize our database environments. Roles & Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL Monitor database performance and implement query optimisation, indexing, and performance tuning strategies Design, implement, and manage backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability Handle database security, including user access management, roles, permissions, and compliance best practices Manage replication, clustering, and high-availability (HA) solutions to ensure system reliability Perform routine database maintenance, health checks, and capacity planning Troubleshoot database-related issues and perform root cause analysis Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to support database needs Work across Linux and Windows server environments Maintain documentation related to database configurations, procedures, and policies Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 3+ years of experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role Strong expertise in RDBMS such as SQL Server / Oracle / MySQL / PostgreSQL Hands-on experience with SQL queries, indexing, and performance tuning Solid understanding of backup and recovery strategies Experience with database security and user management Familiarity with replication, clustering, and high-availability solutions Working knowledge of Linux and Windows server environments Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Nice to Have (Optional) Experience with cloud-managed databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, etc.) Exposure to monitoring tools and automation scripts Knowledge of compliance and data protection standards Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Cell phone reimbursement Health insurance Internet reimbursement Leave encashment Paid sick time Work Location: In person Show less [{"type":"people_also_viewed","href":"https://in.linkedin.com/jobs/view/database-administrator-at-apexanalytix-4324842476","jobId":"4324842476","label":"Database Administrator"},{"type":"people_also_viewed","href":"https://in.linke...
