OverviewThe Senior Financial Analyst is a key member of Navigator’s Finance team, responsible for driving analytical evaluations of the company’s critical transactions, overall financial planning, and reporting across our midstream oil and gas operations. This role partners closely with Engineering, Operations, and Business Development to deliver actionable insights that support strategic and operational decision-making.The ideal candidate brings strong financial modeling expertise, a deep understanding of the energy industry, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development of financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-range strategic planning.Development of key materials, including detailed GIS maps, in support of project and tactical decisions.Analyze monthly results and key performance metrics, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.Support department leaders in evaluating operating performance, capital spend, and project returns.Prepare executive-level reporting packages, variance analyses, and board presentations.Support cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and capital allocation planning.Contribute to due diligence and valuation modeling for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.Maintain a comprehensive understanding of commodity markets, pricing impacts, and operating cost structures.Manage data sourcing vendor relationships and contractingRecommend and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness in reporting.Serve as a financial liaison between Engineering, Operations, and Business Development, ensuring alignment across teams.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required; MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred.5–8 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, preferably within the oil & gas, energy, or midstream sectors.Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with a track record of influencing cross-functional teams.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Competencies:Strategic Thinking: Sees the big picture and provides insights that drive business p...
