Senior Software Developer

[Industry: Civil Engineering | Type: Full-time | Level: Mid-Senior level] T&M Associates is excited to welcome a highly motivated Senior Software Developer to our growing Technology Department. This individual will be responsible for designing and developing software applications, mentoring junior developers, and providing technical leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop software applications that align with business requirements.Mentor junior developers and offer technical leadership.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new features and applications.Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability.Develop and maintain technical documentation.Qualifications7+ years of relevant experience in application development, or a combination of education and experience.Proficiency in C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, IIS, Azure, XML, REST, Entity Framework, and Visual Studio.Strong understanding of the application lifecycle, full-stack development, databases, and application services.Experience with Blazor, MVC, React, and Bootstrap is a plus.Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure DevOps (or equivalent tools).Familiarity with Agile principles and Scrum framework (certifications is a plus).Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) and ability to leverage these tools responsibly in day-to-day engineering tasks.Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) certification and industry certifications in Microsoft technologies (.NET, SQL Server, Azure, etc.) are a plus.Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks effectively.Willingness to travel as needed for projects and opportunities.T&M Associates is committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation practices in compliance with applicable laws, including the New Jersey Equal Pay Act.
