The architect will partner closely with application development, infrastructure, network, security, and compliance teams to produce high-quality technical designs that serve as authoritative blueprints for engineering and deployment teams. Key Responsibilities Translate complex and sometimes ambiguous business and technical requirements into scalable, secure technical solutions Create High-Level Architecture Designs for stakeholder review and approval (business, security, infrastructure, regulatory) Produce Detailed Technical Designs used by engineering teams for build and deployment, and retained as post-implementation artifacts Design and standardize reusable architecture patterns to streamline delivery and ensure consistency across platforms Support cloud and hybrid infrastructure initiatives, including modernization and migration efforts Design for high availability, resiliency, and disaster recovery, including multi-region and multi-site strategies Collaborate across development, infrastructure, network, security, and data teams to ensure aligned execution Clearly communicate architectural decisions, tradeoffs, and constraints to technical and non-technical audiences Technical Environment & Required Skills Cloud & Platform Technologies Strong experience with AWS, including: EC2 compute sizing and storage options Automated infrastructure and application deployments Landing zone design and governance Experience with OpenShift (or similar container platforms): Application deployment considerations CPU and memory resource planning Databases Hands-on experience with enterprise database platforms, including: Oracle PostgreSQL Additional RDBMS or cloud-native databases (Aurora, SQL Server, etc.) Messaging & Streaming Experience with Kafka (including managed or multi-cluster environments such as Confluent Kafka) Experience with traditional messaging platform...
