Senior Software Developer

[Industry: IT Services and IT Consulting | Type: Full-time | Level: Mid-Senior level] Job DescriptionAs a Senior Software Development Engineer, you will own the software design and development of major components of Oracle’s Cloud Infrastructure. After completing onboarding and learning existing systems, you would be expected to provide technical leadership to other software developers.ResponsibilitiesQualifications:4+ years of software engineering experience.BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.Proficient in Java, C, C++, C# or similar OO languages.Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals.Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.Experience with REST API and service-oriented developmentPreferred Qualifications:Hands-on experience developing services on a public cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).Experience delivering and operating large-scale, highly available distributed systems.Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, etc.Experience building multi-tenant, virtualized infrastructure is a strong plus.Strong understanding of databases, NoSQL systems, storage, and distributed persistence technologies is a plus.Working familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and standard network architectures is a plus.QualificationsDisclaimer:Certain US customer or client-facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization and occupational health mandates.Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations onlyUS: Hiring Range in USD from: $79,200 - $178,100 per year.
