Software ManagerOn-site Hybrid | Dallas Texas | PermanentWe’re hiring a Software Manager with strong RDK-B and networking experience to lead software development and product delivery for broadband gateway and router solutions supporting North American customers.This role combines technical leadership, project management, and customer engagement, working closely with internal engineering teams, marketing, and external partners to deliver high-quality broadband products.ResponsibilitiesWork with the marketing team and customers to define product features for North American marketsDefine technical solutions and architecture for new product functionalityBuild project plans, break down development tasks, and assign work to internal teams and third-party partnersTrack development progress and ensure timelines and milestones are metDefine and manage the product qualification and validation planEnsure product quality and compliance with company QA processesLead investigation and resolution of issues reported from the fieldLead technical escalations with the support of senior management when requiredWhat You Will BringBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (Master’s degree a plus)5+ years experience with RDK-B development for routers or gatewaysStrong programming skills in C/C++Experience with build systems such as Yocto, Buildroot, or OpenWRTStrong knowledge of networking protocols including ARP, IPv4, IPv6, ICMP, TCP, UDP, GRE, DNS, DHCP, IGMP, SNMP, CWMP/TR-069, USPExperience with WAN and LAN technologies such as DOCSIS, 5G/LTE, EPON/GPON, WiFi, and EthernetStrong debugging and troubleshooting skills using tools like gdb, valgrind, Wireshark, and RDK logsExperience with development environments and CI/CD tools such as Git, Jira, and JenkinsAbility to understand and work with complex software architectureIf this is a role you think you will excel get in touch!
