About the CompanyA globally renowned manufacturer of a wide variety of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), with production sites in Europe.About the Role➢ Drive new business growth by identifying and acquiring new customers and strategic partners across the US in the API and CDMO market.➢ Expand our client's APIs footprint through targeted market development and opportunity conversion, ensuring sustainable revenue growth.➢ Position and promote our client's API portfolio and CDMO capabilities to strengthen visibility, competitiveness, and customer preference.➢ Own the complete business acquisition process – from lead generation and qualification to negotiation and deal closure – in alignment with the Global Head of Sales & BD.➢ Negotiate and finalize commercial agreements (supply, license, or CDMO contracts) in close collaboration with Legal and Sales leadership.Your Qualifications➢ BS or MSc in a scientific discipline (Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, or similar); A business qualification (e.g. MBA) is a plus.➢ +10 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical API sector, with a proven record of driving sales growth and new business development.➢ Deep understanding of the generic pharmaceutical market, including regulatory and commercial pathways for API approval and integration into finished dosage forms.➢ Technically fluent, with the ability to translate complex scientific, quality, and regulatory topics into clear commercial opportunities.
