Senior Payroll Project Manager

This position is crucial for our client operations, and they need someone with extensive experience in Dayforce/Lawson Payroll implementation, optimization, and payroll process management. Key Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end payroll project planning, execution, and delivery, across multiple projects ensuring compliance with all federal, state, international and local regulationsManage system implementations, upgrades, and integrations, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and go-live supportPartner with HR, Finance, and IT teams to streamline payroll processes and improve operational efficiencyServe as the primary liaison between payroll operations, IT, Vendor and executive leadership, providing clear project updates, risk assessments, and strategic recommendationsDevelop and maintain project documentation, timelines, and status reportsOversee payroll data integrity, audits, and reporting to ensure accuracy and complianceTrain and mentor payroll staff on system functionality and best practicesRequirementsBachelor's degree in Business, HR, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience)PMP or similar project management certification preferred5+ years of payroll project management experience, with at least 3 years working directly with Dayforce/Lawson; Payroll Operations experienceDemonstrated success in managing payroll system implementations or large-scale process improvementsStrong executive communication skills, with the ability to present complex payroll and system concepts to senior leadershipIn-depth knowledge of payroll regulations, compliance requirements, and reporting standardsExceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.
