With operations across Canada and United States, Bento brings together a dynamic team of people with diverse backgrounds, experience, and talent, to create an exceptional guest experience.LocationThis role is mostly remote, but applicants must be located near one of our regional offices in Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, or Fullerton, California.ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Business Development Representative is responsible for generating new business accounts and sites in the Foodservice/Hospitality space.Primary role is to be a “Hunter” salesperson to generate and follow up on leads at a site level for all Universities, Colleges, Hospitals and Airports to assess viability for our Sushi business.Work towards annual budgets and targets to grow our Foodservice business over the next 5 years.Identification of opportunities and champion for driving sales and profitability in this channel.Timely and accurate communication to direct manager, along with weekly status reports on all business developments.Sales networking to identify new opportunities for growth.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in business administration, Commerce, Marketing, or other related field.5+ years of experience in the food/CPG or foodservice/hospitality industry in a sales, account management or business development role.Highly motivated individual with a passion for sushi and food.Strong verbal and written communication skills – can hold a conversation and develop strong bonds with people.Ability to wear multiple hats and manage priorities/deadlines, with strong attention to detail and follow up.Valid driver’s license and own vehicle - regular travel is required to sites and customer headquarters.Ability to travel frequently throughout the US and Canada.Why you should join our team:Base Salary of $80,000–$100,000 plus performance-based commissionPower of Collaboration: Live our core values - "Own it", "Care about it", "Make it exceptional", and "Win together" - as we work together to create better food for everyone, the Japanese way.Competitive Rewards: Upon meeting eligibility criteria reap the benefits of a comprehensive compensation package with a bonus plan, group health benefits, and retirement plans that recogni...
