For those looking to make a difference and find a professional home, Wipfli offers a career-defining opportunity.ResponsibilitiesSales Execution:Serves as a primary new business sales contact for Wipfli’s Manufacturing, Retail and Distribution (MRD) Practice, focusing on the Western or Midwest United States.Creating awareness, building relationships with key accounts and Relationship Executives in Wipfli’s MRD PracticeRepresent the full breadth of service offerings within MRDDevelop leads through external referral sources, associations and networking groupsManage multiple, complex pursuits and coordinate a collaborative sales effort with subject matter experts and consultants through the entire sales lifecycleParticipate in trade shows and regional industry eventsAssist with preparing and presenting the value propositionSupport direct marketing campaigns and programs - following up on marketing qualified leads to further nurture those leads and turn them into sales opportunitiesPlanningDevelop and cultivate a target list of companies in the Western or Midwest United StatesUnderstand the targeted market segment needs, industry issues, competitive threats and our service offeringsBuild a strong working relationship with Wipfli’s MRD LeadersQualifications And ExperienceRequires a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or other job related major, or an equivalent level of job related experience5+ years of MRD industry sales experienceFamiliarity with selling intangibles and value-added servicesThe ability to craft and execute strategic and tactical plans to close projects and servicesDemonstrated success in developing new client relationshipAble to leverage enterprise level CRM systems for effective pipeline management and performance tracking.Alaina Lister, from our recruiting team, will be guiding you through this process.
