[Applicants: Be among the first 25 applicants | Industry: Utilities | Type: Full-time | Level: Internship] Primary FunctionResponsible for assisting the Project Managers and Sales Professionals in the development, planning, execution, and monitoring of projects focused on the turnkey construction of high voltage electrical substations, transmission lines and distribution lines.Duties & ResponsibilitiesEmployee may be called upon to perform any or all the following functions:Work with the Project Manager for the review of the cost, schedule, safety, quality, and completion of construction projectsCoordinate work with Purchasing to insure that requested material is expedited and received as needed for the construction of a project.Assist the Project Manager in the preparation and maintenance of cash flows, monthly billing, preparing, and obtaining change orders for assigned projects.Assist the Project Manager in the preparation and maintenance of monthly construction progress reports, re-projections, files, etc., required for the construction of a project.Assist the Project Manager in the creation and maintenance of schedules and other work as needed for support of the project.Assist with the development of project estimates and pricing.Assist the sales organization in preparation of proposals or in support of customer sales calls.Resolve inter-group conflicts, project conflicts and delays as required to meet project construction goals.Work effectively with all divisions including Dacon, Field Service, Engineering, and SalesMinimum Qualifications / ExperienceCurrently enrolled in a university with a graduation date between December 2025 and August 2026.Currently majoring in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Science, Construction Management, or related field is required.Must be eligible to work in the U.S., currently and in the future, without visa sponsorship.Prior internship and/or related work experience is a plus.Possess Skills In The Following AreasDemonstrated understanding of substations, substation control and transmission systems is a plus.Understand financial aspects of project controls.Interpersonal skills, technical knowledge, organizational ability, and leadership talent.Able to effectively communicate with internal and external customers from a project or sales perspective.Ability to negotiate and influence key decision makers.Technical writing skills with an understanding of business management ...
